about us

Founded in 2016, GTL Professional Corporation is a labour relations consultancy and law firm, specializing in leading collective bargaining negotiations for employers.

GTL has led collective bargaining for numerous employers across Canada, primarily in the post-secondary and healthcare sectors.

Drawing on the skills developed as labour and employment lawyers, GTL’s team has earned a reputation for delivering exceptional bargaining outcomes, while adhering at all times to the highest levels of professionalism, civility and integrity.

our approach

We lead with a strategic mindset through consensus based decision making, supported by data, expert opinion, and stakeholder consultation.

Achieving outcomes that are in the best interests of the employer is paramount. But we also recognize the value of maintaining and improving the continuing relationship with the union.  That’s why we believe that a sustainable collective bargaining resolution is best reached through willing agreement of the parties.

We strive to achieve that through a collegial, transparent and professional process, underpinned by open-mindedness, critically challenging the status quo, listening and honest discourse.
